Basics of Communication (2016/17)

Final grades - as promised

posted 11 Jun 2017, 13:36 by Martin Ossikovski   [ updated 11 Jun 2017, 13:38 ]

Dear All,

Attached below please find your final grades.

Overall, I think/hope most of you have improved their skills significantly. And still, I am a bit disappointed by some omissions in your CVs/cover letters. Please take multimedia presentations more seriously and do cut down on the amount of text.

If you have questions, get back to me via e-mail ASAP, as I shall be uploading your grades to the university servers tomorrow.

All best wishes - and have a lovely summer,

Final grades - TBA tomorrow

End-of-term assignments

posted 20 May 2017, 13:02 by Martin Ossikovski

Dear All,

I'll be looking forward to your end-of-term assignments (four things: e-mail, CV, cover letter, multimedia presentation) by midnight on Tuseday/7 June. The exam date is set for Wednesday/8 June.

For the e-mail part, please think of and compose a message to an imaginary employer/company inquiring whether they would like to hire you; NB - the company/employer should have advertised *no* position openings, an you will have to take the initiative on your own.

If you have questions or something troubles you, get back to me at any time.

Best of luck!

PPTs, syllabus, etc.

Dear All,

As we discussed on Monday last week, I shall be sharing all lecture/seminar materials via an online folder accessible to course participants only. So please email me using your group email, and I shall reply/provide you with a link.

Erasmus students are welcome to use their personal email accounts - just please provide me with your name so that I can keep track of who has access.

Do email me at any time if you need so, have questions, etc.

Take care - cheers!
