Grades

posted 9 Jun 2016, 10:24 by Martin Ossikovski   [ updated 12 Jun 2016, 10:46 ]

Dear All,

You will find your final grades here. Decimals will be rounded up/down, i.e. 4.5=5, 2.5=3, but 5.25=5, etc.

(This list does not include Erasmus students, whose grades I'll be sending around via e-mail later on.)

Should you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me (and remember to compose your messages in English).

Overall, some of you did well; but I was somewhat unpleasantly surprised to run into basic mistakes we've talked about a number of times in class.

Take care and enjoy the summer.

Final assignments

posted 19 May 2016, 06:25 by Martin Ossikovski   [ updated 19 May 2016, 06:26 ]

Hi there,

As I promised on Monday, here's a list of your end-of-term assignments:
  1. One CV (feel free to modify/hide away your personal data if you feel like, but please include all vital components we have talked about)
  2. One cover letter responding to this open position ad (that's just an example; please feel free to choose another ad that fits you better)
  3. One PowerPoint presentation - preferably something you have already done for some other class, just take care to improve it in line with what we discussed on Monday
  4. One e-mail message - and that will be the message you will be addressing to me when sending your assignments; make it neat & clean.
I shall be grading each one of these four components (=A, B, C, D) separately, and then calculate your final grade (Final = (A+B+C+D)/4).

Please note I'll be looking forward to receiving your materials until the official exam date, i.e. 9 June 2016, 00hrs:00min.

Take care, and let me know if anything bothers you.
